In terms of exterior design, the Li Auto L8 retains the overall styling of the current model lineup, with its most notable update being the integration of a compact ATL all-weather LiDAR unit. This enhancement not only elevates the vehicle’s technological aesthetics but also significantly bolsters safety performance.

On the advanced driver-assistance front, the refreshed Li Auto L8 comes standard with LiDAR in its AD Pro configuration, markedly improving active safety capabilities. Whether equipped with the Horizon Robotics J5 or the newer J6M chip, the AD Pro system delivers advanced driver-assistance functions and highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot), with continuous over-the-air (OTA) updates ensuring ongoing feature enhancements.

Powertrain-wise, the Max variant of the updated Li Auto L8 now features the same 52.3 kWh large-capacity battery pack previously exclusive to the Ultra trim. As a result, the CLTC-rated all-electric range of the Li Auto L8 Max increases from 225 km to 280 km, while total combined range extends from 1,360 km to 1,415 km. Moreover, the 52.3 kWh battery supports faster charging—replenishing from 20% to 80% in just 25 minutes—substantially reducing charging downtime.
