In terms of exterior design, the new 2025 Hongqi E-QM5 features a newly introduced full-width LED light bar, replacing the previous model’s vertical chrome grille. Combined with the iconic Hongqi emblem on the hood, this redesign delivers a cleaner, more technologically sophisticated appearance. The vehicle retains its generous dimensions of 5,040 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,569 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,990 mm—offering class-leading rear legroom.At the rear, the Y-shaped taillights now incorporate silver accents, significantly enhancing nighttime visibility and brand recognition.

Inside, the cabin showcases a dual-tone interior scheme of dark gray and cocoa brown. Brushed aluminum trim adorns the dashboard and door panels, creating an elegant yet understated premium ambiance. The traditional gear shifter has been eliminated in favor of an electronic steering-column-mounted shift system (column shifter), freeing up space in the center console for the addition of dual cup holders—substantially improving everyday practicality.

Under the hood, the 2025 Hongqi E-QM5 is powered by a front-mounted single electric motor, now delivering 110 kW of maximum output—a 10 kW increase over the 2024 model—along with a peak torque of 205 N·m. It is available with three battery options from CATL, all using lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry: 56 kWh, 60 kWh, and 72 kWh. These configurations offer CLTC-rated driving ranges of 475 km, 500 km, and 610 km, respectively. Notably, the top-tier 610KM PLUS variant supports fast charging, replenishing the battery state of charge from 30% to 80% in just 32 minutes (approximately 0.53 hours).
